Holistic Massage

‘Holistic’ derives from the ancient Greek word ‘holos’, meaning ‘whole’. Holistic massage aims to meet and treat each client as a whole – body, mind and spirit. Using a combination of techniques from many traditions, at a depth of pressure to suit you.

It may be experienced in any number of ways – as relaxing, dynamic, soothing, expansive, rejuvinating, centering, calming,  grounding and releasing. There is no set routine to the treatment, it is changed and adapted to suit the individual.

Physically, it relaxes tight muscles, improves circulation, nervous function and joint mobility. Increasing the body’s fluidity and easing many short and long term ailments.

Emotionally, the caring and sensitive touch of massage can reduce stress and help you to feel nurtured and held. At a deeper level, over time and frequency, it may release the personal history stored in our body tissues and lead to powerful changes in our energy and process of growth.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage can support you with the physical and emotional changes experienced throughout pregnancy. Pregnancy naturally puts a lot of stress on your back, shoulders, neck and abdominal muscles and massage can relieve some of these common aches and pains.

Techniques used for an holistic massage are adapted safely for pregnancy –  you will be massaged in a comfortable side lying position with cushions to bolster and support you in fully relaxing and feeling safe. Time will also be made to connect with your baby using breath and visualisation.


Reiki is an energy healing technique used for wellness, stress reduction and relaxation. It is not a cure for disease or illness, but it may assist the body in creating an environment to facilitate healing.

Throughout a Reiki session you are fully clothed and will recieve light, static touch to specific parts of the body, front and back. Some clients prefer a hovering touch, over the part being treated. This can be discussed before we start the session, so that you feel fully at ease and able to relax.
